Rachel Taylor

Rachel is a PhD student in archaeology, interested in studying the Ancient Maya. She has conducted fieldwork in the Peten region of Guatemala, focusing on Preclassic centers and ancient graffiti as well as various digital archaeological techniques used for analysis and preserving fragile cultural heritage. Currently, she is focusing on zooarchaeological methods to explore ancient biodiveristy, forest health, and management in the Belize River Valley.
